Best air bed I have ever used, January 8, 2011 By This review is from: Queen Intex Deluxe Raised Inflatable Downy Air Bed (Kitchen) Don't be fooled into thinking that the more expensive brands might be better than this one. I slept on a couple of the double tall Aero beds before, and they have too many problems with deflating and sinking, and they just don't feel as sturdy as this one.
This bed is by far the most comfortable air bed I have ever used, and it even ranks up there with being more comfortable than most standard beds I have ever used overall. In fact, laying on it feels like sleeping on a good, firm, standard mattress.
One tip to making it more firm (and this is why I gave it four stars instead of five) is to come back later after you have it fully inflated (maybe ten or fifteen minutes later), and add some more air to it to make it really firm. I suspect that this has something to do with the plastic stretching out and expanding. Once you add this second bit of air, it will stay firm all night.
