Quality American Made Platform Oak Beds, May 28, 2008 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Solid OAK Wooden Platform Bed Frame-Beautiful Hand-rubbed Danish Oil Finish-Made in USA-Looks Great! (Kitchen) When I ordered the item, it was out of stock. A gentleman from their company promptly telephoned me the day after I made the purchase to apologize and explain an alternate ship date. He was very polite and courteous. I received the bed exactly when they promised on the telephone. The bed is easy to set up. My room smells like fresh wood. The danish oil finish is attractive and you can't beat the price!!! It is so nice to purchase something that is superbly manufactured and made in the U.S.A. Not only do you get an exceptional product, but you are supporting a local company. Plus, it really does look great.

Pleased with my Purchase, May 25, 2008 By This review is from: Queen Size - Solid OAK Wooden Platform Bed Frame-Beautiful Hand-rubbed Danish Oil Finish-Made in USA (Kitchen) I was quite happy with my new bed! It's sturdy and nicely finished. It was easy to put together no tools needed. The only down side that I found is at one of the intersections of the side board and foot board the holes to attach with the screw weren't completly lined up so it was a little tricky. But overall I think I made the right choice, I had been searching for the right platform bed for months, and this bed was the best for the cost!

The parts arrived without the specialized nuts and bolts required for assembly, but a call to the distributor on the packing label resulted in a separate shipment arriving the next business day, so I would recommend this item for purchase.
